My name is Surya, a name that means "the sun" in my culture. I was born in Gujarat, India, to a Tamil family, and we moved to Dubai when I was just six months old. After seven years, my family relocated to Mumbai, India, where we eventually settled. I pursued a double degree in Economics and Sales Management at HR College, University of Mumbai. It was during my sophomore year that I discovered my passion for design, art, and photography, unlocking a new creative side of myself.
In 2013, driven by the desire to hone my artistic skills, I decided to study abroad. I earned a scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Visual Design at SPD, Scuola Politecnica di Design, in Milan, Italy. I have a strong interest in visual storytelling and branding, and I am currently working as a freelance Art Director in Milan.
