Sebastian Baz King is a talented musician and producer from South Africa. He has created a space for himself in the spiritual soundscapes genre with his mellow drifts in his guitar.
BRIEF
Baz King approached me to ideate, photograph, and design a series of song covers and social media assets set to release by the end of 2023.
SOLUTION
An artist like Baz King is full of contrasts. His poetry is full of depth and emotion and yet creates a simplistic melody that calms and eases your mind. The idea was to showcase an emotional, physical, and vulnerable aspect of him.
The other aspect of this was to use some of his lyrics and design their significance through a typographic treatment.
